The Carclo Side Emitting lens is designed to direct light sideways creating a narrow beam of light 360 degrees around the perimeter of the LED. This lens is ideally suited for a wide range of applications such as beacons and runway lighting. They can also be used for area back-lighting by directing light into the edge of 10mm thick acrylic or polycarbonate sheets.

We currently do not have an LED assembly specifically designed to fit this lens. The lens will fit over our 10mm square series of pre-mounted LEDs, however you will need to modify the lens slightly to fit the connecting wires between the bottom of the lens and the top of the LED mounting base.

We do not recommend using this lens with 10mm square LED assemblies for production. Instead you may want to consider purchasing one of our ready-to-light Rebel Side Emitting LED assemblies.

The lens is manufactured from lens quality polycarbonate, is UL rated and offers a temperature resistance up to 125C.
