The L2OPFL is designed specifically for an obsolete Luxeon LED. This lens is not compatible with the Rebel line of LEDs. We are no longer stocking the L2OPFL, however it is still available to order.

The L₂Optics L2-OP-FL Flare lens has been designed for use with all Luxeon I, III and V Emitters. The illumination pattern is horizontally very wide (80°), but vertically extremely narrow (10°). It is well suited for devices where a 360° illumination pattern is needed. L₂Optic lenses are made from optical grade PMMA (acrylics) to ensure excellent optical properties as well as long-term material stability and durability and have an optical efficiency of at least 85%.

The type and color of LED that you use will have an effect on illumination pattern. For example non-white LEDs will produce a narrower distribution of light so some experimentation may be required to determine the best lens for your application.

L₂Optics Flare lenses are assembled directly on a PCB without an additional holder. See the images below for mounting and positioning information.
