The TerraLUX MiniStar30M (TLE-300M) LED light bulb upgrade kit replaces the standard incandescent bulb in Maglite® D cell flashlights providing 500+ Lumens of intensely bright, white light producing more light than the conventional 50 watt MR-16 Halogen light bulb.

The TLE-300M upgrade fits into and converts a Maglite® flashlight with 4, 5 or 6 D cell batteries into the brightest LED flashlight available, setting a new performance milestone in flashlight brightness. TerraLUX uses three of the latest Luxeon® K2 “flip chip” high powered super bright LEDs to make this performance possible.

Specifications

  • 3.5 v to 24 VDC, 12 watts power consumption. Current varies with the voltage to maintain constant output power.
  • 600 lumens initial led light output. Minimum 500 lumens at steady state.
  • Over-temperature protection. Light output will be reduced to maintain safe led operating temperature. Light output is reduced, not shutdown.
  • 8.4 degree FWHM beam for long throw distance. 31 CD/L central brightness. 0.19 LUX at 100 yards at 600 lumens.
  • Usable with alkaline, NiCd, NiMH, Li-ion batteries.
  • Approximately 1-2 hour run time with 4 alkaline D-cells. NiMH or NiCd batteries are recommended for maximum runtime.

Note: This kit will only work with D cell Maglites. It will not fit C cell lights and cannot be used with other brands of flashlights.
