IS IT SAFE TO USE YOUR CREDIT CARD ONLINE?

We take security of your personal information very seriously and only use best business practices and the latest in technology so that you never have to worry about credit card safety.

When you use your credit card to purchase merchandise from us, your credit card information is sent directly to Moneris Solutions, a joint investment between Royal Bank and Bank of Montreal Card Services International to verify and pre-authorize your credit card number and process your transaction. It is not stored on any of Quadica Developments servers or business computers and we never see or retain your credit card number.

Why is shopping online at www.luxeonstar.com safe?

We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure online commerce transactions. It encrypts your credit card information, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

Any information that we do retain is always maintained in a secure manner.

How do I know if I have a secure connection for my transactions?

You can rest assured that your connection is secure if any or all of the following things appear on your browser:

  • Padlock Icon: Almost all of the popular web browsers on the market today show a padlock icon when you are on a secured webpage. This icon is typically found along the bottom of the browser window.

  • HTTPS in the Address Line: If there is a "s" after "http" in your web address line (or URL), then the webpage is secured. An example would be "https://luxeonstar.fluidhosting.com/security.html"

  • Webpage Properties: If you right-click on a webpage and choose "Properties" (or "View Page Info" if Netscape), you can determine if SSL has been enabled for that page.
