Product Guarantee
All products offered on our website are guaranteed to be free of defects in workmanship and materials and come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee or your money refunded within 30 days of purchase. If you are not satisfied with any product, please contact us directly by email at service@luxeonstar.com to arrange to return the product for replacement or full refund.
Due to the nature of the products we offer, we are only able to guarantee that the products we provide will operate and perform within the specifications as published by the component manufacturer when they are delivered to you. If a product fails to meet it's performance specifications, or is defective in any way when delivered, we will be happy to replace or repair the product at our discretion. Notice of possible defective products must be made within 30 days of
delivery. This guarantee does not apply to products that have been
subject to misuse including, but not limited to; the application of a reverse voltage to LEDs, static discharge, over heating, accident,
modifications, or alteration during assembly which makes it impossible
for Quadica Developments Inc. technicians to test the product.
Our Business Name & Credit Card Charges
Luxeon Star LEDs is owned & operated by Quadica Developments Inc. Charges to your credit card for products that you order from this website will show on your statement as Quadica Developments Inc. Some credit card companies do abbreviate the name in strange ways however.
Order Placement
You can order our products by browsing our catalog and adding the products you wish to purchase to the shopping cart.
Once you have added the products you want to order to your shipping cart, click on the Go To Checkout button. You will then be prompted to enter your shipping and payment information.
Upon submission of your order you will be sent a confirmation email detailing the products that you ordered and all invoicing / shipping information. You can also review your order details by logging into your account on our website. If there are any errors or problems with your order, please contact us immediately at service@luxeonstar.com.
Current Stock Quantity & Additional Stock
Each item on our site will include the current quantity that we have in stock and a lead time projection for additional stock.
Current stock quantity is continuously updated as other customers order inventory. We also update the current quantities once each business day to reflect stock count corrections and the arrival of new inventory. The stock quantity is not guaranteed and is subject to change or correction.
The lead time projection for additional stock is based on our previous experience with getting inventory for this item from our suppliers, or our typical production lead times. The lead time projection is our best estimate, is not guaranteed and is subject to change or correction.
Postal Shipping Times
Postal shipping times provided on the Shipping Options page on our website are provided by the post office, are NOT guaranteed and can take longer on occasion. It has been our experience that while the shipping times provided by the post office are usually fairly accurate, there will be occasions were it will take longer. If you need your order be a specific date, we recommend that you use a UPS Expedited or Express option instead.
LED Binning
Specifying a specific LED bin number requires that you purchase LEDs or LED assemblies in 1,000 piece increments (A full reel). If you order LEDs in 1,000 piece increments, we will ship full reels of LEDs or produce LED assemblies from the same bin. If you need a specific bin number, you must contact us before you order for availability.
If you order in increments of less than 1,000 LEDs, we will only supply un-binned LEDs selected from general inventory. We are unable to select specific bin numbers, or guarantee that specific bin numbers will be shipped if you order less than 1,000 pieces. Click here for more information about binning.
Pre-Payment Options
We offer the following pre-payment options:

- MasterCard
- PayPal
- Check/Bank Draft
- Wire Transfer
You also have the option of faxing your Visa or MasterCard information to us.
- If you pay for your order with Visa or MasterCard we will not debit your credit card until we actually ship some or all of your order.
- If you pay for your order with PayPal, PayPal will immediately debit your PayPal account for the full purchase amount.
- If you pay for your order by Check or Bank Draft, your order until we have received your check/bank draft. Check and money order payments must be in US funds, drawn on a North American bank and negotiable internationally. We cannot accept money orders that are only negotiable in the US.
- If you pay by Wire, we will not ship your order until we have confirmed that your wire transfer has been deposited to our account.
- We are unable to accept COD orders at this time.
Term Accounts
Term accounts are available to qualifying organizations. With some exceptions, we typically require a few pre-paid orders to establish order volume and frequency trends before we are able to offer terms. Please contact us for more details.
To order using your term account simply select Purchase Order from the payment options during the checkout process and enter your PO number. You can also fax your PO to us at 1-519-449-2399. Please do not order by PO until your account has been setup and approved.
Our terms are Net 30 and are strictly enforced. We will not be able to process any order if your account is not up to date.
Pricing Information
All pricing is based on US dollars and is subject to change without notice. All charges are invoiced in US dollars and will be converted to your local currency by your credit card company.
Currency Exchange
For your convenience we provide a currency exchange function that allows you to view the prices of all our products in the currency of your choice. Exchange rates are updated each business day, are approximate and are subject to correction or change. Charges will be invoiced in US dollars and will be converted to your local currency by your credit card company.
Pricing is only guaranteed to be accurate in US dollars.
Shipping Information
All products are shipped FOB from our facility in Brantford, Ontario, Canada.
Discount/Free Shipping
From time-to-time we may offer discounted or free shipping based on the purchase value of your order. Our discounted/free shipping offer is only available for orders placed on our website.
Duties, import fees, or taxes assessed by your country's customs service or customs brokerage fees that are assessed by the carrier are the responsibility of the customer and are not covered by our discounted/free shipping offer.
Shipping & Handling Costs
Shipping costs are based on current rates as published by Canada Post and UPS. To determine the cost to ship your order, simply add items to the cart.
US Orders
We can ship to you via Mail or UPS.
Duties and brokerage charges may be assessed by the US Customs service and the shipping company.
Canadian Orders
We can ship to you via Canada Post or UPS.
HST/GST for your province will be automatically added to all Canadian orders.
International Orders
We will accept International orders from most countries. We can ship to you via Mail or UPS.
Duties and brokerage charges may be assessed by your counties customs service and the shipping company.
Order Processing Time
We will make every effort to ship your order within the lead time projection provided on our website. However we are unable to guarantee any specific lead/delivery time.
Expediting
To expedite an order, please send an email message to service@luxeonstar.com We will do our very best to respond to your expedition request within 2 business days.
Combining Orders
We are not able to combine multiple orders together for shipping. If you
need to order additional items, you will need to enter a new order that
will be processed and shipped separately. Multiple orders cannot be combined to qualify for our free shipping offer.
Returns & Exchange Policy
All non-custom products sold on the Luxeon Star LED website may be
returned for a full refund (less shipping costs and payment fees) within
30 days of purchase providing
they have been unused and in their original packaging. Orders over
$100.00 (USD) may subject to a re-stocking fee. Refund payments are only
provided when we have received the returned items.
Custom built products are non-returnable.

Cancellation, Returns & Exchange Policy For Custom Built LED Assemblies
Orders for custom built LED assemblies (any assembly that uses customer selected components and are not part of our regular product line. E.g., MR-CUSTM-20T) cannot be canceled or altered once your order has been locked or shipped. Orders are locked when your payment has been received or your credit card pre-authorized.
You can determine if your order has reached the locked status by logging into your Account page and clicking on the Review/track orders link and selecting your order to view the details. If you order has been locked, a locked status message will be displayed below the item list.
Custom products cannot be exchanged or returned for refund.
Order Cancellation
You may cancel any unshipped (non-custom) order without penalty. To cancel an order please send an email message to service@luxeonstar.com.
Product Liability
Quadica Developments Inc. sole obligation for products that prove to be defective by Quadica Developments Inc. own evaluation tests will be to repair or replace the products. Quadica Developments Inc.
gives no warranty either expressed or implied and specifically disclaims
all other warranties, including warranties for merchantability and
fitness. In no event shall Quadica Developments Inc. liability exceed the buyers purchase
price. Nor shall Quadica Developments Inc. be liable for any indirect or consequential damage.
Notice of possible defective products must be made within 30 days of
delivery. This warranty does not apply to products that have been
subject to misuse including, but not limited to; the application of a reverse voltage to LEDs, static discharge, over heating, accident,
modifications, or alteration during assembly which makes it impossible
for Quadica Developments Inc. technicians to test the product.
Further, products sold by Quadica Developments Inc. are not authorized for use as
critical components in life support devices, systems, nor in medical
operating room or life rescue equipment. A critical component is any component of a
life support device, system or medical/rescue equipment whose failure to
perform can be reasonably expected to cause failure or malfunction of
the life support device, system or medical operating room/life rescue equipment.
