Using The Xitanium Driver

Driving a single Luxeon LED with the Xitanium driver is as simple as connecting the driver to an AC power source and a 1 watt LED to the output of the driver. No other components are required.

The output current will be properly regulated to ensure maximum luminous output and LED life. This is the recommended way to drive Luxeon LEDs for commercial applications.
Luxeon/Xitatnium Driver Circuit

Typical Luxeon/Xitanium Implementation

A single 12 watt Xitanium driver (LED120A0350C33F) can be used to power from 1 to 8 series connected Luxeon LEDs at their full rated current value of 350 mA.

LEDs Connected In Series

The 17 watt Xitanium (LED120A0700C24F) can be used to drive from 3 to 6 series connected Luxeons and two parallel connected strings at 350 mA per LED. Crossover connections are optional.

Series/Parallel Connected Luxeons

Alternatively the 17 watt Xitanium can also power 3 parallel strings of 3 to 6 series connected Luxeons at a reduced current rate of 233 mA per LED.

Series/Parallel Connected Luxeons Driven At A Lower Current Rate

For experimentation and prototyping you can use typical LED driver circuits.
