The LXHL-FW6C White Luxeon^® V Portable Star is part of the world's brightest LEDs with power and superb lumen maintenance that far exceeds other standard and high-flux LEDs. Luxeon V Portable white LEDs are designed for portable lighting products such as flashlights, LED headlamps, emergency lighting, and other battery-operated applications.

The hexagonal shape of the base of the LED makes it easy to connect and power these LED in a closely packed arrangement for tight spacing and increased light output per unit area. For help using this LED visit our library of application notes, design guides and documentation.

The base of this LED is not electrically neutral. If you need to mount this LED to a common heat sink, then you need to isolate the LED from the heat sink.
